Dashboard Overview — Find Your Way Around Botaura

The Botaura dashboard is where you train, customize, and run your bot. Everything is organized into a left sidebar grouped by what you're trying to do, a top bar with quick actions, and a home screen that summarizes your account. This guide explains what's where.


The Home Screen (Overview)

When you log in you land on Overview (/dashboard). It shows an at-a-glance summary of your account:

  • Feature tiles — headline counts for your knowledge files, products, leads, WhatsApp conversations, orders, customers, campaigns, and templates. Counts a feature your plan can't access show as 0 (they unlock when you upgrade).
  • Plan usage — where you stand against your plan's monthly message limit.
  • Quick links into the areas you're most likely to work on next.

These are the same numbers shown inside the WooCommerce and Shopify embedded apps, so every surface agrees.


The Sidebar

The left sidebar is grouped into sections. Here's what each contains:

Overview

  • Overview — the home screen described above
  • Bot Health — a live health check of your bot (answer quality, errors, WhatsApp delivery). See Bot Health.
  • Analytics — conversation and performance metrics (Pro+). See Analytics.

Bot

  • Knowledge — train the bot with files, website crawl, or manual entries
  • Products — your product catalog (Pro+)
  • Chatbot Setup — appearance and personality of the widget (Pro+)
  • Widget Embed — the code to put the bot on your website

Leads & Customers

  • Leads — contacts captured from chat (Pro+)
  • Customers — buyers segmented by WhatsApp order activity (Business+)

WhatsApp

  • Connect WhatsApp — link your WhatsApp Business number
  • Store Integration — connect WooCommerce or Shopify (Business+)
  • WhatsApp Inbox — read handoffs and reply as a human agent (Business+)
  • Orders — WhatsApp cash-on-delivery orders (Business+)
  • WA Templates — approved message templates (Business+)

Growth

  • Campaigns — broadcast messages to segments (Growth)
  • CTWA Ads — Click-to-WhatsApp ad analytics (Growth)
  • Cart Recovery — win back abandoned carts (Growth)
  • AI Sales Agent — proactive selling behavior

Billing

  • Spend — your subscription and billing overview
  • WhatsApp Usage — Meta message costs and volumes
  • Pricing — compare plans and upgrade

System

  • Team — invite teammates and set roles (Business+)
  • Widget Errors — JavaScript errors logged from your website widget
  • Settings — business profile and general settings
  • LLM Config — bring your own AI model
  • Contact Support — open a support ticket

The Top Bar

  • Plan badge — shows your current plan; an Upgrade button appears if you're not on the top tier.
  • WhatsApp inbox shortcut — a quick link to the inbox with a badge counting conversations waiting for a human handoff.
  • Search — jump to any section quickly.
  • Collapse — narrow the sidebar to icons on smaller screens.

Locked Features

Features your plan doesn't include still appear in the sidebar, but clicking one opens an upgrade prompt instead of the page — so you can always see what's available on higher plans. For example, the WhatsApp Inbox and Orders are Business+, and Campaigns, Cart Recovery, and CTWA Ads are Growth. Entitlements are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the menu.


Same Dashboard, Three Places

Botaura runs in three surfaces that stay in sync: this dashboard, the WooCommerce plugin (inside wp-admin), and the Shopify app (inside Shopify admin). The store plugins embed the same screens you see here, so anything you set up in one place shows up in the others. See Store Integrations.
